ALLOTRIART
I chose the name Allotriart based on the ancient Greek term Allotria, meaning “strange or foreign things.”
We continually scan the distant heavens for other life forms. Yet, very seldom do we look down to see the other-worldly universe on
our very doorstep.
Tiny life forms that go unseen to the naked eye. A fragile world in which life is measured in millionths of a meter called microns.
The Allotriart project is focused on creating more appreciation and awareness of this neglected unseen universe through the power
of artistic photography, where thousands of images and hours go into producing one high-resolution image. Every hair and follicle
must be accounted for!
Only this amount of attention to detail can do justice to a world woven together with such exquisite colours, textured patterns and
intricate detail.
